Although born and raised in southern Maine, Leigh Rush Olson, founder of Old Port Historic Tours, began leading walking tours in New York City’s historic financial district back in 1997 while getting her BA in History at CUNY Brooklyn College. Here we are in 2026 and she is still going strong leading historic tours in Portland, Maine since 2008!
